Everyone needs to watch this. Perfectly explains my wingman issues.
so, i was the one that bought these! i never heard of you or saw this video beforehand, your multitool just came up as an etsy ad on instagram and i thought it was a nice mod, so bought it. great to see all the work behind it, i still use it alongside my arc!
definitely one of my favorite videos on discussing the wingman, helped that you actually used the tools to demonstrate your points. thanks for posting
Had mine for 5 years and never fail me
Excellent video, this scissor problem is why I've always loved Wenger (now Victorinox Evo grip) serrated scissors 👍
You are talented, keep this channel going!
Absolutely love the Wingman. Perfect for everything I do on a daily basis just want to change the blade. Just a preference not really an issue. As far as the scissors I’ve never had any problems at all. Great video though.
I had one totally fubar itself. Pliers went through the side of it. Where the lock was
Bruh just got a leatherman god man this is a work of art
Great job. I prefer multitools with the pocket clip on the right side. I used the Wingman for several years. i sharpened the scissors more and bent the blades towards each other. This worked for me. I dislike the Wave/Charge because they are left side pocket clip and they have pinched my hand too many times. The Curl has the pocket clip on the right side. You have to remember to use the pliars where pocket clip is located, otherwise you can get that Wave pinched. I used the Curl heavily and even broke the pliars tip off. Step in the Workpro 18-1. It has the right side pocket clip. The outside tools are at the opposite end of the handle. No Wave pinch. The workpro is nowhere near the quality of the Wave. I have been using it for about three months. I got it so muddy that grains of rock were imbedded in the tools. I wash it under the sink. I abuse this tool on a daily basis and it still works! The handles dont close properly. But, it works a multool.
I'm not hating on this product and I know I'm not going to be welcome with a comment like this, but I think Leatherman is a huge gimmick. For the price of one of these you can buy an entire toolbox with a set of at least 10-15 professional line tools. (At least where I live - and Leatherman here is expensive to import.) I owned one leatherman set of pliers and right off the box they were misaligned, they would twist and seemed overall lightweight or wonky. I returned them soon and I have never held such a tool that seemed so 'not heavy duty'. I have a friend who broke several leatherman pliers and I believe these are for beginner DIY-ers because anyone who has used hand tools would agree that any one tool designed to do one thing is better than what Leatherman is designed to do. LM is a jack of all trades, master of none. It's probably cool to keep in your car as an emergency tool but even if so, it wouldn't justify the price for me. You can get a sturdier set of pliers for just under $5 (without the extra tools) and even make a small pouch toolkit for under $50 that would be much better at what it's intended to do. You're not afraid to abuse cheaper, stronger tools and you're not afraid to lose them or have them stolen. For EDC? I don't think I can justify the weight of a LM set. I personally carry Knipex XS + Knife and other small tools that still weigh several times less than any LM. At least this is my own opinion, anyone is free to debate me on this one.
Cool project, great video.
Buy the Leatherman Arc. Out of all the multi tools I own, that is by the far the best.
This is great content. Subscribed!!
Swap plier heads with the rev plier head it's better and stronger
Nice! Victorinox scissors are so good! Leatherman should ad those laser engraved lines from Knipex Cobolt. But they wont, not for a bugdet tool anyway. I wonder if you can add something similar, maybe very small serations on the scissors blades.
Not sure how the anvil cutters of a 13 year old tool are a step back from the design of the P4 cutters that came out 10 years later. But yeah. Awesome mods regardless! It looks great!
Informative! I like how you do your videos. Subscribed
Wow, therapeutic.
