My cats are brothers and sisters. I have had non related cats before, who have got along with each other. I think a lot of a cat's behavior toward a cat parent, and other pets, has a lot to do with how one is feeling. For example if a cat parent is stressed, cats will sense this, and become stressed too. But if a cat parent is calm and easy going, the cat will be so as well. Cats are very sensitive. My cats sometimes give me a wink, and a lot of times give me a full cat blink. They love to do their own thing, (which I don't mind) but approach me when they want cuddles.

My Taz did a lot of these things for me a lot. Especially the greeting every time I came home. With a great big meow. He'd then jump on my back when I bent over to take off my shoes and just sit there, purring and kneeding his paws. He also loved spending a lot of time with me. He was my purr buddy. He's been gone since 2018 and I still miss him. I've had to say goodbye to a few pets over the years and all of them hurt, but loosing Taz hurt the most.... I'm just glad I gave him the best life that I could, and that he was loved.

My Angelica follows me everywhere, cuddles me, loves belly rubs (actually does) loves me stroking her tail (weird right?) and she also will not hide her pain from me me. She literally woke me one night because she was having an asthma attack from smoke seeping in the room from a forest fire that was way off far away. I woke up turned on the light and asked what was wrong and she went and hit her inhaler. I then noticed her rapid shallow breathing and she let me give her her inhaler no struggle. She felt better. She was going insane over a very mild ear infection that had the vet confused as to why she would be reacting so badly. It was so mild and almost undetectable but he found some bacteria and yeast in her ears so minor. Got her on meds and she’s better. Pure trust if she can tell me when she’s in pain or struggling. She won’t do that with my husband so much. Mostly me. She’s special needs and has some issues. But she my actual soul cat

This describes my sweet Jasmine (whom crossed the rainbow bridge recently at the age of 22 years) Everytime I would come home from school when I was younger would always be waiting for me with the dog and if she wasn't there all I had to do was call for her and she would come running. She bit my now husband when she first met him but soon grew to love him too. Her favorite spot was at my side while I sang or watched anything, and I am the only one she would allow to bathe her.

Since my husband bring a kitten as engagement gift, i mafe sure we had family hugs each time I am back from work and kusses when I was leaving for work. I think, it did bond us as a family. With the time, kitty became independant and did not want so many hugs and kisses yet he did shower us both with kitty-tupe of love. I think, he loved us equally, for different reasons, but bith the same. When my husband died, I am our kitten's only human, so we are now always cuddling together, me and him. I think the stress aged our elderly kitten but I try to ensure he does not lack of love.

A good test is who does the cat look to for reassurance when in a new social situation like visitors it doesn't know. I don't know if all cats do this but when it happens it's very obvious.

Only have 4 .. lost two in past 3 mi THs. Sigh..but we are not tv ppl. We are music going. And if I am quiet in a.m, they wonder if zi have croaked. 😊
