Her name was Wu Ze Tian and she was one of the greatest leaders to have ever lived. She basically established the idea of intellectualism in China through academic reforms and made China the most economically influential state in her era. She also spread what was the most peaceful religions (which effectively considered themselves as philosophies rather than religions) which enriched the idea of being positive influences society rather than being aggressive parasites. History tried to erase her achievements and demonize her, perhaps because of sexism.

Fun fact: During Wu’s rein as impress her title was technically Emperor as that is what she wanted to be referred to as. Also because back then there wasn’t a commonly used word for Empress that didn’t mean “the emperors wife” or “mother of the emperor”.
