Rachael Ray has a chicken Parm recipe where you use lemon juice as a dredge instead of egg wash. The breadcrumbs don't adhere as well, but the zing from the lemon juice is so good, I don't mind.

Tbh the amount of garlic people usually put in so much food shocks me. Ik people don't have same taste but omg I LOVE GARLIC. No amount if ever too much. Garlic is so good❤

Try putting parmesan on the sauce under the mozz. The melted mozz will melt the parm without it getting hard.
You lost me when every bite was open-mouthed
Put the cheese on and broil then top with sauce when it comes out of the broiler. This way the nice crisp breading on the chicken does not turn to mush.
