Man there really is just something casually horrifying about Grace constantly being confronted with the glaringly obvious proof of Rocio being abused and her only real response to it being casually dismissal of it or calling Rocio crazy and only doing what she does to scare kids. (Though it's certainly in line with Rocio saying the person grace loves most in the world is herself)

I can't help but feel like Grace has had more hand in creating the disturbing parts than she wants to admit. I feel as if she could have made these as a way to mock Rocio's trauma. I think what supports this theory is the fact that scary parts are made mostly of collage and real life pictures, and we know that Grace is a programmer, not an artist. Also Petshop specifically has a much more complex scary part, one that would be more difficult to program than the cute one.

I just realized at 21:23 the audio that is playing is the ex wife of the Unicorn Killer, talking about the first wife found in the closet. She couldn’t smell the body because of medicine she was on at the time, and when they busted him she never saw him get arrested or the body at all. So she just received a phone call and suddenly that part of her life was just over. She said it feels like a dream.

Its awesome to see this series having an actual playable game! I really adored the early flash game style of the series. Even as far as having different windows for all the game elements are even cool.

After a rewatch, I found myself thinking Rocio is just like the skeleton cat. She was hurt, so she hurts others, putting all this stuff into her games, sometimes even in plain sight. She's pushing the narrative of "the real girls' games" so hard, denying the idea that some people have it better than her and trying to make them as miserable as she is. I just really hope that it doesn't turn into an excuse later, with maybe Grace turning out to be the "bad guy" of the series. She is a terrible friend, but it wasn't her who, y'know, decided to put gore in children's games (or so it seems right now) :' Anyways can't wait for the full game!!
