A really amazing video which summaries well the common integration scenarios. TY
I've a question through about the 2nd scenario, the payment gateway. How do you make it PCI compliant? How do you protect the credit card info not to be exposed thru Apex or ESB logs?

@rohanarayan

Thanks Apex Hour for great session.

@SalesforceUSA

Good video!

@rajashreebehera8431

Thanks for such detailed explanation . What is the disadvantage if we use cdc to send account updates to SAP and use platform events to capture the response ? Any reason why we have gone ahead with Platform event + Sfdc apis to publish and subscribe ?

@DadsUtub

@mitesh - In Scenario one ,is step 3 needed? why ESB need to call salesforce to get account details. As we already publishing platform events and ESB can subscribe and pass that data to SAP directly. Can you please help to understand more, Thanks for this content. Very helpful

@MonikaJha-zy4pt

hello mitesh, what is the role of adding middleware systems in scenario 1 and 3? Can't the external system like SAP etc can subscribe directly to events sent from salesforce?

@memesv3.093

In Scenario 2, why do we need to make a callout to the Mulesoft ESB instead of directly making a callout to the Payment service's API?
