If the enchanting templates are essentially just fancier enchanted books, then it renders them superfluous in the context of the mod. The term "template" implies a use in manufacturing an object, and if it was previously used to mass enchant books with a certain enchantment, perhaps that should have been how should have stayed, just with a limit on the number and level of enchantments, with the souped up forger being the only means of combining enchanted books beyond their default highest level.

I didn't even know that templates aren't infinite, and I still liked it. It made automating luck very sensible to me. Like, use an attribute filter to grind the useless enchantments back to the main tank and use the rest in the forge.

While you can't print the templates you can print enchanted books and i believe you can use the templates to make the books. its much less over powered but certainly more complicated. You can also bulk dye and automate rose quartz in this mod now!
