You know you're in for it when the magician acts like they fucked up.

@adamboyce8404

the clear "accidental" blade showing early on was soo wonderful

@Rexvideowow

I think the fact that he threw them over to Penn as to say, "go ahead - inspect them" was the final blow. You can see the amazement on both their faces.

@duxwontobey4887

I think the best fooler tricks are like this, because they fool you twice. You first watch him with these knives and go "wow that's fast, but he's gotta be spinning them around, white on one side red on the other" but then the combinations start making less and less sense until he finally reveals you were wrong in so many different ways that you have no idea how this is done. Beautiful.

@daleappleby7166

Watching teller get excited because he’s completely clueless and is just enjoying magic is exactly what I needed today.

@f937r

I love that Penn looks at Teller with a "He got you too, right?" and just sat back down.

@bulldogsid

The joy in Teller's face as he watches a master at work is so fantastic.

@ejej6934

Wow, the confidence a magician has to have to invite Penn and Teller to sit 2 feet away and dare them to figure out what's happening. Juan Luis has that routine down cold. A total pro. Felicidades!

@mrhoneycutter

I love how Teller, the better sleight of hand magician of the two. Just lights up when the handkerchief trick goes off so perfectly.

@JuanLuisRubiales

Would you like me to have a video talking about my experience at FoolUs? With anecdotes from the recording and other things…

@ShinjiSixteen

Leading with "I'm from Spain, so card trick" to the actual act was hilarious. And I've never seen changes like that; beyond masterful!

@JuanLuisRubiales

Thank you all for all the love, it's a thing I've been working on for over 20 years and I really wanted to show it to everyone. I like the classics of magic and trying to take a different approach to them. If you want to see my previous appearance on the program, visit this other link and if you like my content, subscribe, it will help me grow on social media. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

@crrose1186

“My name is so and so and I’m from Spain”

Penn and Teller: alright ya fooled us

@freddieweasel2533

I feel like I'm going mad as no one else has mentioned this in the comments but does the sound not cut out at 1:25?

@blugobln85

That was incredible. The best part is how casually you implied it was all slight of hand with something simple like rotating the knives, but after about a minute of that I realized it wasn't... and I like Penn and Teller had NO IDEA what you were actually doing. Beautiful. The ending where you rolled them in the cloth, especially when you allowed the green to flip over in your hand naturally in full view... you were just "styling" on us at that point, for pure joy. Absolutely incredible.

@secretagentbloke

Great job!👍🏻
I love that despite his decades in magic, Teller can still look like a 5 year old at Christmas when he sees a trick that stumps him.

@austinkaner

It’s rare that Penn is left speechless. No discussion. Just looking at each other in disbelief.

@RyuSensei42

I got to be this man's volunteer at a magic convention in Japan several years ago. Completely blew my mind with how smooth he is. A true master of the art!

@namedjasonc

Wow, Teller's face was lit up by pure delight several times during that performance!
