Glad to see that you made it =) I was surprised, that it was on my news feed, but I haven't heard anything about it up until now. Don't forget to make it public ;) It's amazing, that the programming part helped you out to restructure your current game. Restructuring can be a danger, because some people go down the rabbit hole and restructure their code serveral times, because there are billion ways to solve some problems and programming is "just problem solving". But if it helps you to maintain it and to decrease the technical debt, then it's the best thing to do! Keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to see your game released =)

keeping my code structured and ordered by functionality is something I need to learn desperatly. i just start programming and add ideas on the fly and i stop the project as soon as it gets a mess. eight weeks of a programming course sure would help with that! its nice to see that you are living with so many kind people and that you are learning from each other so much. i might get a little bit jealous!

Top notch video! It's awesome to hear about how you learn in the course and applied that to your game. My programming experience was similar with online tutorials to get my head around it, a course to start understanding it and now I'm working in a software job which really accelerated my initial knowledge, although I do feel like I've stagnated a little recently. Hmmm...

Interesting. How practical are these though? (I mean doing production game dev there, not learning) As solo dev you'll be head down in code by yourself most of the time. Due to the internet, any time you need interactions with others regarding game dev, you can do that online? (Your audio levels when your in front of the camera seem to drop, you should be able to normalise each audio clip in your video editor to fix that)
