1:26 i still love how it zooms on the chess pieces and then subverts expectations like “ahh you thought the chess pieces were gonna be salt and pepper shakers SIKE ITS A KALEIDOSCOPE PEPPER GRINDER GET TRICKED”
It’s been a decade since I watched this, I remember this as one of the first Youtube videos I had ever watched. This video has permanently had a spot in my heart as one of the best Youtube videos i’ve ever watched, 11 years later I come back and the video still brings back some of the best memories ever. Thank you PES.
As a kid, I had no clue what was happening in this video, but after cooking spaghetti years later as an adult, all those ingredients started to make sense
Googly eyes > salt Foil > olive oil Rubik’s cube > garlic Pin sack > tomato Pick up sticks - rubber bands > spaghetti Sauce > silk Dollar bill > basil Dice > sugar cube sticky note > butter Bubble wrap > boiling water White yarn > cheese Kaleidoscope > oregano
On a whim, I made spaghetti and sauce exactly the way this animation did. Maybe it was simply the satisfaction of doing it the way PES did, but I swear it was better than anything store-bought
Normally I would get mad at someone for bragging about having the first stop motion cooking video, but Pes has bragging rights.
This isn't just animation—it's a masterclass in imagination. 🎬✨ Turning objects into meals has never looked so smart and satisfying!
Knees weak, arms heavy, Vomit on my sweater already, Western Spaghetti
