The average dude on the internet can't seem to process enjoying multiple games in the same genre, even if they share many similarities. You can see that in spades with something like Doom The Dark Ages right now, where because it isn't as good as Doom Eternal people online are saying it's "bad". They don't seem to understand that you can enjoy both even if you find one better 😅

I explain it to people as EFT through the lens of a COD-type FPS. HUD, can access map, less of a focus on crafting, questing, etc. Like the combat completely changes when you can callout a direction because you have a compass at the top of your screen, or open the map and ping where you saw players. EFT requires a shit ton of game knowledge, and people that don't have it end up saying shit like "guy at the tree" or "guy at the building" when theres a bunch of trees and buildings because they don't know callouts. It is inherently easier to jump into and has no financial hurdle to play. And it's a lot less punishing to die. Some people don't want those things and that's fine, just like some people do and that's also fine. Me? I just want my sweet sweet ARC Raiders back.

This game is WAY more friendly to new players. I've gotten people into this that HATE tarkov for one reason. Weekly free kits. So nice to just slap on a premade kit and be in a match within 4 minutes of launching the game

Crazy, he's one of the guys who cried so much about BSG and the Unheard Edition, etc, and made it like it was a big problem and even stopped playing for some time but now he's spamming #ADS for Arena, which is coming from Tenset and they basically copy-pasted a game, designed it to be a live-service cash grab, and are just trying to milk players in this genre. Make it make sense. Money talk i guess

Does it have all the atmosphere? The lore? The gameplay mechanics? The bosses and all the secrets? ABI is just chinese cash grab; Tarkov have a magic atmosphere when your new and your mind tingles with the unknown. Theres no equal

as the one who play both, i enjoy tarkov more with the quest as its reward, mechanic, requirement, and the impact it have is far more interesting than arena breakout, but for purely pvp i prefer ABI than tarkov (not the gun play exactly but more to the feel of the engagement itself).

Tarkov fanboys are annoying! That heaping pile of sphaghetti code is dated and everyone knows it. The bugs are a decade old , cheaters are out of control, the devs nerf any community enjoyment and also recycle content Im SO GLAD WE HAVE MORE/BETTER OPTIONS NOW.
