I like that you show the balls on a house pattern. I feel that's where 99% of all balls sold will see most of their duty. Your videos have helped me make the decision on several balls I have purchased over the past couple years. Current league bag consist of Black Widow 3.0, Artic Vibe and Raw pearl. Love those balls. They are all out of box finish but I think I will knock some of the shine off the Raw as its a huge step down from the Vibe and feels as if there is a ball missing. Thanks.

@Trashpanda0017

Interesting to see you being honest instead of selling a ball.

@TheBigfoot1999

I agree about the shine. I recently got the Turbo X. Threw it out of box and liked it...but I thought it could be better. I took the compound off with a 3000 pad and now LOVE that ball. More arc and better continuation.

@cmihale

OG No Doubt is still in my bag. Was waiting for Phil to make this one.

@mebinnyc

I had to do the same thing with the pearl. 4k pad just to knock the shine off. Made a huge difference

We use the term "big asym" for certain balls. I've started using "big sym" unofficially. I notice the "big sym" balls give me tons of trouble if they are shiny. The long hook window of syms plus polish or compound is a tough pairing for me, so i end up adjusting surfaces.

Great video as usual.

@eugenevest6829

I use a little surface on my GB4 Pearl, it works great. Good video.

@remington1439

Nick Iโ€™m late on review so whatโ€™s the magic drilling for the No Doubt, I looked all over where Phil & you are on the show I went back to 6 months of reviews listening just like the ball that just been out for a few months he Phil said draw a straight line from pin and drill there and you will get more reaction from the ball, itโ€™s the SNAP SHOT BALL, does the same apply to this ball

@jeffchamberlin6702

Did you also knock the shine off of the Special Effect? Or was that core strong enough to keep the shine?

@michaeljamrozy4299

I agree with what you're saying regarding the shine. I use a GB2 as a benchmark and have used Envy Tour as a benchmark. I was intrigued with what a super symmetrical would be like for this purpose. I would just likely use a shiny assym to get left rather this cover/core combo

@machinethesun9243

So glad you put a pad to it. I love shiny solids on blown out lanes, but for the fresh, surface.

@Mulelicious

I polished my new Hyperdrive and it works great. Sometimes surface changes can be amazing.

@alanbialeck948

I hated my 109 wicked collision. I started smelling it to make sure they weren't lying about the cohesion. It smelled like oranges so I took it in the bathroom and put a 3,000 pad on it. Came out of the bathroom enter my first ever 300 League game with it. I'm averaging over 220 with it and that is a personal best. I really don't like shiny solids. I have no problem with shiny pearls and even shiny hybrids. I have 14 newish balls and I'm contemplating putting 3,000 on everyone. Just by hand and very lightly

@jdizzlef83

Has a similar pour/look to the Special Effect, except I like the look of this ball more for some reason.

@gattsgodai3

Hazmat pearl was over under for me with box surface. Keeping it around 4K gives me a more consistent read.

Cool video talk bowling ๐ŸŽณ ball Brunsnick nick ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ‘Œ

@abandonroscoeband

Hey, did you change and add surface to your Hammer Special Effect?

@jrestivo100

Phil is NEVER wrong! You need to adjust your axis rotation and speed. ๐Ÿ˜‚

@ripvanrevs

Hella Good!

@jimward3043

Would this be a good ball to have to be a compliment with a hammer envy tour solid since the Hammer Ball is a asymmetrical and this one is a symmetrical
