Have been riding mtbs for a few decades. Always great to see someone new with enthusiasm. Pricey parts make a difference, but cheap parts are getting better and more accessible. Keep experimenting and being smart about where you place your money. Mountain-biking is 70% rider, 30% equipment - well mostly.

Great video. I own a Trail 5, pretty similar to yours. I am thinking on changing the stock stem (is exactly the same as yours was) bc after flip crash it got a little bent. I’m not sure what stem I’m choosing yet and I am looking for advice. A smaller stem is on my radar. But I don’t know what size/measure I have to look to make it match with the handle bar and fork tube. Are those numbers standard for any brand? Thanks.

@valesz4140

Literally the upgrades I've been looking to make .... In same order but no money lol
