So lifetime is same as 200 a month for 8 years. And the AI companies keep racing each other and you can only bet on one horse for 8 years, worst deal of the decade.

My first comment is : "I hate this!" First of all it ruins any notion of fair discovery in science. Who is Open AI targeting with a twenty thousand-dollar ticket to use, or the $250 +/_ a week option? As if science with paper presentation isn't competitive enough, they aim to introduce a pricing model that artificially stratifies the quality of work. "Gotta have the best to be the best." What is one left to do if the opportunity to be viewed and reviewed rests on which pricing tier you happen to afford? It has become just like the "pay to win" game hated by most. You might want to think this out more thoroughly before more harm than good comes from it.
