Every client is required to complete an oral health questionnaire before we apply any tooth gems, and I always recommend consulting a dentist for gem removal. Another consideration is the fact that my office charges $150 for “enamel resurfacing “ to remove the glue when you want the gem off. I’ve had patients that had the gem removed, but the rough glue is still there. It needs to be polished off with a burr.

I love this as its not biased or anti-tooth gems, however what about people who apply gems trained by an accredited UK course rather than be a dentist themselves?

“Go to your dentist” you can go to someone that does them professionally without it being a dentist... we don’t need dentists for temp tooth gems

I wanted some SO bad in the early 00s. I asked my dentist to order some and he didn’t 🙄 34 year old me damn near begged my current dentist to make me a gold crown, but he hardcore advised against it haha. Not as hard as my hygienist did 😂🙄
