Man it's bs how the trickle down effect for old videos is just not the same as it use to be on youtube when a new video does well, this video is just a great as any of your modern ones! I can't wait to binge the rest of your channel! :)
Maybe the real friends were the video games we made along the way
For me, the game that helped me the most during Quarantine was actually a series. The Touhou project. It taught me how to accept failure as a necessary prerequisite to success. And it made me start developing my own game. I'm getting stressed out by that now, as my deadline is getting closer. Fortunately I discovered Guncaster:Vindicated, a doom gameplay wad, recently, and that's helped with the stress immensely. It's the only FPS I've found that feels at all like The Citadel, where I feel both incredibly powerful, and incredibly vulnerable; and where movement shooter and tactical shooter design elements work together in harmony. Once I make 2 more SHMUPs, I'm going to make an FPS inspired by it.
The way you described Skate 3 made me want to play it so much, i dont recall a more convincing way someone made me want to play something
good video. i use video games to cope with the fact that nine are buried, but zero have been found
great video! ur channel is very underrated
I feel a very therapeutic game for me is hollow knight, even tho i’ve nearly done the entire game I just like going to city of tears and listening to the music while I just do random parkour, and if I need to take my mind off something, pure vessel is always… fun… kinda…
Chill video. Definitely going to use it for reference if I have to do a random presentation in my psych class o and mandatory this channel is underrated comment
Damn I genuinely love so much how you edit these videos, I literally watched all of them, remember me when you hit a million subs!
Awesome analyzing. For me GTAs and especially Diablo 2 (I played the demo map way too much before getting the real thing) were those meditative games that I could put on when ever outside and family life were rough. And though violent I want to think they didn’t turn me in (total) psycho.
Great video man. Although Animal Crossing also helped me at the beginning of Covid, Ghost of Tsushima was my saving grace a couple months into it. I had little to no communication with my friends and was stuck inside for months, and being able just roam around and explore all of the beautiful landscapes and shrines of imperial Japan was such a relief. Don’t know how I would’ve survived without it.
Another banger from tg online. For me a game that's always helped me is Minecraft, I've played it since I was a lil kiddo to now, and even though I don't really play it these days, I always know that it'll be there for me and there will always be hours of fun and stupidity to be had in it. Can't wait for the day I go back and play it again :)
It can sound a little bit wierd but... Dark Souls was a game which helped me in hard times
