The father didn’t physically kill his youngest son but he mentally killed him. That poor child will live a painful horrific life constantly remembering what he saw and how alone he is. Sad

If Jonathan had live he would have label a monster for killing his family but because he took his life he is being portrait as a victim too! HE MURDER HIS FAMILY THERE'S NO EXCUSE!

What a sad case. I do find it odd that with a family that large the father was the only one working, part time at that. We can barely do it with 2 full time adults in the house.

She is my cousin by marriage 😢 she and those kids are victims. If Jonathan needed help why didn't he reach out. He's the monster in this story.

I suffered depression for many many years before turning my life over to Christ , One night the despair was unbearable , I got on my knees and ask god if he was real to help me and he did , No more debilitating depression. ❤❤❤ Without god you see no hope , With god a new life is possible.

Ok I get the financial strain, but did this couple not communicate at all?!! Why did Johnathan only work part-time ..did he not think a full-time job would be more helpful? Why wasn't his wife working also?? And the 18yo as well. I'm not understanding any of this . Look at the house they live in & one kid in college with only a 1/2 job between 3 employable people? Looks like they were living way beyond their means. Could have sold the house, paid some bills down and moved into an apartment, the wife and 18yo could have both gotten full time jobs. Other similar cases : John List, Chris Watts ( also living beyond their means).. worst case scenario, if they can't resolve this together, then split up..this guy probably thought he'd be nailed for child support., but how when he literally had no job.. and this is how it ends. So terribly tragic..

The narrator trying to look for excuses as to why this sicko annihilated his entire family sickens me. There is no mental breakdown or poor decision making that can make you choose to do what he did 4 times over. How do you come up with the nonsense he went for the kids so they don’t live with the trauma of knowing what he did to the mom when he left one alive to live with the trauma and stigma? He is a psychopath and narcissist who couldn’t deal with the stigma of been in financial problems

What a horror story. Living within your means from the beginning can help with stress. I am not victim blaming but the wife should have been working and the poor excuse of a father should have worked full-time. He didn't even give the family a chance to turn it around. That poor youngest boy.

I live 15 minutes from Yukon and this was a huge news story and I know police. You are making up what you think they were talking about and you don't know what they were talking about the night it happened. You keep saying "may have" You're just assuming what was said and his feelings. First off, it was a school day and the youngest got out of bed because it was late and he needed to get to school. Some of the kids were found shot to death in their beds, not all. I don't recall about the mom though. The youngest was supposedly the "favorite" so that might be why he was spared or because the dad had obviously lost his ever loving mind and forgot about him. The police had been to that home for domestics but reports weren't filed. Also, everyone bashing the wife, she is a victim! Y'all ever think he didn't want her to work?

Very tragic . 4 boys and a wife on a part time job would be impossible . She should have got a job , the boys were old enough .
