OMG I never expected to cry like this. I cried a river. This was so painful, but worth it. This was about friendship of two friends who are each other's biggest support but also each other's biggest weakness. I hate harem stories unless they are comedy based. I mean I watch other harem stories too, but I just hate them. I just hate how harem works. These men who maintains a harem from ancient time would never truly love anyone ever. Why would they shatter so many women's heart for their own selfish needs. Harem is a place for girls to lose their youth, freedom and peace of mind. I'm not against polygamy as long as everyone involved has given their consent, but not everyone is eligible to have that. If you cannot treat all your partners equally in every aspect not just material-wise, you shouldn't get in to such a relationship. It's so unfair for many otherwise. I respect that one Chinese emperor who abolished the harem system. The worst part is concubine selection never stops. It keeps going till the emperor dies. Emperor is the biggest villain here, he is the worst.

The drama might be quite sad, but I think it's a really good one. The actors, the costumes, the plot, were all amazing. To be honest, some scenes in this drama reminded me of Empresses in The Palace, Story of Yanxi Palace and Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace. I'm happy that I didn't let myself think that the ending would be too sad and unbearable and watched this drama. It was all worth it!
