@TheVerge

Desktops didn’t necessarily need Framework’s help – what should Framework pick as its next modular and repairable product?

@yeungscs

I hate to say it but AMD was right to pivot to APUs for the console, mobile and AIO market.

@LessThanPro

The reason im interested is the pricepoint for performance, it seems crazy

@Xerox482

Next we need framework PRINTER , lol

@Lardzor

I'm not that opposed to modules. The M.2 form factor is compatible with PCIE x4, and I'm sure a lot of 'modules' could be adapted to PCIE x4.

@Lay...

This should be almost a steam console too. You can switch between your office and lounge so easily with this machine. Looks great.

@vikashgauravvkg

good one. People should move to Amd for AI. We don't need NVIDIA Costly graphic card

@0xC0FF33

Custom made cables? So, you better hope this thing never breaks :D

@lucianolizana446

this company is the light

@neolivz4ever

They should have built a graphics card dock which would be mounted on top

@llynellyn

I hope they bring out another one of these in a year or two. The performance is just a bit too low for me to warrant switching but if they bring out another one with an AI Max+ 495 or 595 I'll be all over it :)

@ignasblazys

I wish they would have something for GPU rendering.

@PsyberSenpai

We desperately need a phone from Framework instead.

@shahabgohar3350

03:48 is that theo?

@Tolknaz

So let me get this straight. A company made a name for themselves with truly modular laptops. Now they release a desktop that's less modular than even desktops by big predatory OEM-s. No PCIE slot, soldered on RAM and somehow we are still to believe they follow the same design ethos as their laptops? Hey, they're not as bad as Apple, because at least they let me switch out some colorful tiles and don't solder the SSD, right? Hard pass for me.

@MaisonNew

I want one!

@kurt120032002

Yea.... imagine paying 2400€, plus storage for a RTX 3060 TI level of performance.are these guys for real with this?

@KnightMD

I'll wait for Valve's because I need suspend/resume streaming to my Deck, otherwise I won't use it. Also, Strix Halo isn't good enough, sadly. Incompatible with FSR4 and not enough RT cores. So yeah, I'll wait for Valve's Fremont because they will surely get RDNA-flavored custom silicon the way Sony did for its PS5 Pro.

@maisunibnmonowar4192

Nilay should have been there talking with Nirav. Patel with Patel. 😅 Lost opportunity

@gizzmoguy.

Yes!!!! Finally!!!
