The amount of fuel it's burning while in a hover has to be insane. I can tell you that it's loud as heck. I've had the pleasure of seeing and hearing one of these up close during Fleet Week in the San Francisco Bay Area.

日本は最初 通常離着陸機のF-35A 42機注文だったのを この短距離離陸垂直着陸機のF-35Bは滑走路がやられても使えるし 日本のヘリコプター搭載護衛艦にも搭載できるから必ず必要になる時が来るという事で安倍元首相が更にA型63機 B型42機を追加注文したんでしたね ロシア 中国の状況を見ると注文しておいて良かったですよね ウクライナの状況を見て慌てて注文した国は後回しにされてるし特にF-35Bは安倍元総理の遺産ですね
