I'm the same way when I finally shut off the engine. I just sit there and let the silence completely envelope me and I take the time to decompress and begin to relax and get ready for sleep. It's very peaceful moment inside the truck.

Much, much respect to you in all your travels. It takes a person with great fortitude to be able to be a truck driver, and it’s harder as a woman cause the risk and dangers are greater as a woman and as an Asian. Please keep safe! Really enjoyed your videos as you’re seen more of a North America than I have or ever will. I’m a 69 year old retired Chinese American living in NYC and truly enjoying people’s prospective like you, as it gives me hope for our future when I see how hard you are working and living a truly good life as an independent person in our great society. Yvette, you make my heart ache with the desire to get back out on the road. I stopped driving professionally due to some unfortunate circumstances in 2013. I do truly miss it out there. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences.
