Happened to me once, but didn’t get the surgery because the nose bleed wasn’t severe. And I have a tip to stop nose bleeds, simply grab a tissue and put it in your nose until it stops bleeding.

I will admit, i do pick my nose. We all have, right?
Anyways, the topic on the fingernails damaging the blood cells makes sense now, i would get cuts inside my nose and i would feel them everytime i would stretch my upper lip, cause it forces my nose to move. This all makes sense now, thank you Zack :)

I have this, the wall will scab up but never heal which leads to more picking. It doesnt actually affect me much though. Sometimes theres a whistle when I try to sleep thats annoying but thats it mosttimes. When I'm sick and have any problems with my nose its instantly made 5× worse cause of this though.

that's exactly what happened to me. i am not even kidding. nowadays i only clean my nose with soft tissue and take care if my nose by not picking at it or messing with it. the damage for me is permanently, a simple sneeze or just blowing my nose causes a severe nose bleeding. so much blood and so difficult to contain if you're not at a hospital.
