actually contemplating on getting one between these two. this is just the perfect short thanks for making it 🙏
They both look awesome, but the rush of nostalgia with the look and feel of the Anbernic RG35XX+ Makes it the perfect modern replacement for those that grew up catching pokemon on the original Gameboy, Gameboy pocket, and Gameboy color. The removable back battery cover is a huge win if you want to keep playing it for years to come with easy battery swap outs.
The Brick has a set of speakers the ANBERNIC only has one.
Thank you for the video, ordered the trimui brick
I go for the trim ui brick cause it has a very nice screen
I've read lots of reviews on the Rg35 ++ and hear of many screen blackout issues and some battery failure issues. Anyone encounter this? - I like this compared to the Miyoo mini, but the bad reviews are making me cautious.
The brick is the perfect EDC, if it was larger it would be worse. Putting new software on like NextUI, MinUI, or PakUI and you're sitting pretty with one of the best devices ever.
I would choose trimui Brick if it had mini hdmi port
And yet another “I love all my handhelds equally” video. How useful.
I prefer anbernic for looks. I feel like all the buttons on the bricl don't look good.
Whats that kirby game called in the beginning 🥺🥺🥺
Would u pick the trimUI brick for software if it came with cross mix? That's wut I got from litnxt. Still haven't tried it but looking forward to it. Heard nothing but good things about that OS.
I only own the 35xx+ and I feel like it's a bit short in my hands even though I have small hands, it's like a gameboy color that has a piece of the bottom of the device cut off in terms of how it feels. It allso just really kind of matters what games you play in terms of comfort, I played the ps1 aliens game the shooter and it kinda felt horrible on it, then I played some Spiderman for ps1 and it felt pretty good. I got a lot of devices and Imo a r36s feels like the perfect size imo. Or you can allways buy grips for these devices
You didn't mention how hot the backplate gets on the brick
According to another review, the Brick heats a lot after a few minutes of gameplay especially on heavier platforms making it less confortable than the rg35xx
I think rg35xx plus is much better
Complete novice here, if I want to play Pokémon souls silver on one of these, which one is better for that? Also, how easy is it to get a Pokémon game on one of these?
I want a 4" brick
I was contemplating this because of portmaster then I realized Brick is 50% more expensive than the MM+ while having a smaller screen and no crossmix yet. On the portmaster front the Anbernic has more compatible games. The TSP would be more ideal for since it has 16:9 screen. In the end I got RG35XXSP for the form factor and portmaster
