At 11:55 You have my mind BLOWN sir 🤯 "You are forced to meet people where they are, beginner level, and actually change their lives to the point of understanding your Depth", WOW that is just absolutely beautiful
Awesome video Dan! I took some notes and takeaways, sharing it with y'all: Smart creators will focus less on follower count and more on building meaningful relationships through an owned email list. They'll use short-form content (tweets, reels) to attract new followers, medium-form content (threads, carousels) to establish credibility, and long-form content (newsletters, podcasts) to nurture true fans. Social media serves as a testing ground for ideas, and exponential growth happens through viral content that is leveraged consistently. Building an audience requires a mix of organic efforts, collaborations, and strategic paid amplifications to create sustainable, long-term growth.
Ten days ago, I published my first blog post. I'm very happy to have started this. Now I'm working on the second one.
"If you are smart, you will make it work." - What a quote.
Ive been running my channel for the last 5 months. Im documenting getting sober and healthy day by day (im on day 41 of sobriety :D). My goal for 2025 is to devote most of my free time to my content and my subscribers. I want to be entertaining, inspiring, interactive, and consistent. Even if this never becomes a job, I genuinely love creating content and always appreciate what you have to say. Thank you, Dan.
Audience growth is non linear. Needed that reminder. đź’Ż
I started 2 new YouTube channels 2 months ago and love creating content I am still a YouTube consumer. I listen to many different kinds of YouTube channels every single day. I think it's great that there is more people creating content. That means there is so much more variety and options. I get bored easily, so I love knowing there are a bunch of new youtubers creating content like me!
I think followers are the ones who support your work because of the solutions you provide that they find appealing.
I get anxiety when I listen to him because I’m aware of how much I stay in my head and not performing the tasks at 100%
I'm making my first video tomorrow! I've just made a bunch of major changes in my life - divorced my wife, moved back to the USA after living abroad for a long time, committed myself to a fitness plan, and started work on a new software platform I've been thinking about for a long time. I've been watching your content for a while, and it has given me the motivation to start making some content of my own. I ordered a microphone and some of those wall foam things. Let's see how it goes. Thanks for being an inspiration.
I just got into YouTube recently after years of planning and deliberation. Never give up and you’re never behind. You’re right on time.
I am a 12 grade student in Indonesia, I recently started my YouTube Channel. I do agree with what Dan Koe is saying. The most important thing for me a starter is to learn to make video the best I can no matter how simple it might look like. I like writing and reading, so, I don't really want to waste my time on shorts which mainly give temporary-pleasure. Patience is precious in creating what we know the best we can.
“I still hated working on projects that weren’t my own”…thanks Dan! Saved me a lifetime 🙏
I'm so grateful this video found me... I feel like it just answered questions that I've had for months but that I couldn't even form into a question
Awesome video. I am small YouTuber, and I think that for small channels the most important thing is to get good presence from the beginning. If you are not popular, people won't care even if you have the best videos and the best content on platform. I am not beginner anymore, but I know how hard it can be (and honestly if I didn't use a lot of Fame - ster, I would have quit a long time ago. It made everything much easier for me, especially getting to 1000 subs and view hours).
I believe (more) Connection and intimacy will make our business thrive, as well as us as human beings!
I love your pace and the depth of your explanations Your videos are the last piece of the puzzle for me to finally make sense of my path. You have truly saved my life. The life I thought must be possible somehow. Now I have a complete big picture and can see how everything fits together. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Just finished reading your book, The Art of Focus. It is a game-changer for me! Loved every page of it.
there's a book called The secret money magnet formula by Ronan Virell, and it talks about how using some secret techniques you can attract almost everything in life it's not some bullshit law of attraction, it's the real deal
