@KenoNoir

we need more people talking about digital privacy and applying pressure to decision makers to protect privacy rights

@TheLadyaec

Addresses and phone numbers should never be public from names online. Imagine any stranger that finds out your name , a cashier, a classmate, a bad date can find you.

@MAG320

"I don't have anything to hide, so there's nothing to worry about."

Heh. Wait until somebody hi-jacks your bank account.

@Greymannn

Make your online footprint as small as possible. Stop using social media. If everyone shut their social media down it would make a massive effect.

@3Orion33

I have blackout tape over my camera eye on my computer. Both to be seen and take pictures. Thus I keep getting a pop up screen asking me to speak/say specific words. I don't comply. I don't want my face, eye or voice print known. So, the sudden command to speak increases and sometimes my ability to get rid of this invasion is nearly impossible.....even to shut down my screen freezes for awhile. I think I am upsetting the computer system.

@mrx1278

My friends think I am just being paranoid about this subject as I refuse to join any social media platform. You have expressed the same sentiment as I have and I was pleasantly warmed hearing someone with the same opinion.
I also think, if the information is mine to start with, if nothing can stop this, I should at least get a cut of the profits.

@joeygrant3983

I feel like we are in a dystopian world

@NA-gi3vb

These issues have been known & talked about for a while now, obviously there is a disconnect for most people between individual consequences from their data being collected. Hopefully more content like this highlighting the real & potential risks of data harvesting will lead to more people giving this issue the serious attention it rates.

@Bunch-of-numbers

Is this modern time, I'm more scared of the use that private companies could do with my data than the government use.

@paul2019monte

Very thought provoking. I really appreciate the distinction regarding privacy and having agency over what others know about you.

@michael_delouisa

When do we actually do something about this because it’s extremely wrong and there should be an amendment or some strong court case that sets precedent for internet transparency and personal privacy

@tbolton6156

This beast is out the box now, given no boundaries.

@leilanij2567

It just goes to show this privacy issue is not just roe v wade, which is important but just tip of the iceberg! Crazy. I knew it.

@sookiebear9215

Since the internet, there is no such thing as privacy anymore. 😪

@agentsmith7866

Wait until you find out that most of your guys can instantly find your personal information within 5 to 10 minutes like your address and who you might be living with.

@skid1233

how do you get one of these reports?

@kurtarici_siyah_sancak

They think that I am the savior of Islam, but the true religion or thought is hidden, it is true.

@Juuxr

Aaaaaand nothing about neoliberalism or late capitalism.

@chancefoxhauck475

Cleverly omiting the name of these "databrokers" and the one he requested a copy of his data from ...

@saksaelectronicsconsulting2023

Rob Braxman gives good privacy advice on his channel. Switching to Linux helps a lot, as does browser isolation.
