Fun Fact, those "belt capes" where called Kamas. They were used by the Mandalorians to help protect the back of the legs from the thrusters of their jetpacks, as well as shrapnel. They were a bit of a symbol for Clones, usually only really worn by ARC Troopers and Captains, such as ARC trooper Fives and Captain Keeli. They originated from the Thysian Sun Guards, having the same purpose as the way the Mandos used them. The Mandos would use them after clashes with the Sun Guards, and would intigrate them into their own culture.

@sandsundertail6936

Also fun fact: 327th armors are more detailed than others, because 327th was designer's favorite clone legion

@Bruh-bd8tv

Actually, when the skins were first discovered in the files near launch, and subsequently when they were finally released a while later, every class had the exact same markings for every legion, and the same basic class gear across them as well. It was only well after they were all released that they gave them all unique markings and gear across the various legions and classes.

@delta1138e

It broke my immersion when everyone had a different color clone Legion on the same map, I wish you could just pick what clone Legion you wanted to see and everyone would look the same

@TheFirstCurse1

I loved this game during it's prequel content era. Then they just cancelled support for it. We need a Battlefront 3.

@Nerdtendo6366

Fun fact: Lego has made a mini figure for all of the 501st skins in game

@invaderIRK1

Dice does this kind of thing for classes across most of their multiplayer games including Battlefield. They make each class across all factions share similar aspects to their designs to give them recognisable silhouettes

@Setuaro

It's still sad that DICE abandoned Battlefront 2, it could be thriving if they hadn't.

@FlamenYong

Rocking the Coruscant Guard markings as a heavy so I can channel my inner Thorn

@sonnynova6138

Star Wars Battlefront series needs to be continued πŸ”₯πŸ’―πŸ”₯❀️πŸ”₯πŸ’―πŸ”₯

@alexmauney9705

All the clone armor designs are canon for each legion, everything that isn’t the actual multiplayer battle in the game was canon and passed over by Lucasfilm. Fun fact, the CT for the Clone overhaul was delayed because of this.

@ShadowReaper-pu2hx

You can identify officers as the guys wandering around aimlessly at every land nav event.

@GingerbreadLEGO

there is no way he just called a kama a "belt cape"

@GUNDAMZAKATSUKI

I wish the phase one still had some of the stuff.

@legitcrazy9811

I change my skin often to fit the map when playing for a sense of nostalgia it's always a nice feeling

@OddJobEntertainment

so ironic that they remembered to do this for Battlefront and then made it so hard to recognize classes in 2042.

@medicbrotside5678

"Belt Cape" ?! IT'S A DAMN KAMA

@brianmoyachiuz905

I miss my Engineer

@youknowwhoelsecantthinkofagood

I really wish they made a comparable amount of skins for the Imperial forces. Imagine shadow troopers, Imperial shock troops, range troopers, etc.

@ethanesslinger9805

In the leaked data files, paintjobs for each perspective legion were actually the same, what would change is the armor pieces like visors, range finders, and thermal visors. Phase 1 clones also had their phase 2 paintjobs, and they looked sick. It would have been cool if there was variants for each paintjob like the standard or specialized variant, which is what we ended up with.
