This was hands down the best tutorial ever. Thanks so much
Yes. In addition to all the positive comments, i'd like to add that your tutorial is the most straight to the point, easy understood. Thanks.
Could you please make one video just for sleeves. You clearly shows everything,it will be really helpful for beginners if you do one just on sleeves with your magical style. God bless you dear
This is awesome, thank you very much! I just wrote all my measurements down, now I'm going to draw the bodice. 🥰 If your viewers don't want to search, here are the measurements they need: 1. Neck circumference (0:06) 2. Shoulder width (0:31) 3. Armhole circumference (1:03) 4. Bust circumference (1:28) 5. Shoulder to waist (2:20) 6. Waist to hip (2:42) 7. Waist circumference (3:04) 8. Hip circumference (3:17) 9. Bust span (3:37) 10. Bust depth (3:56)
You're a wonderful teacher without saying anything . You're so clear and precise. Thank you and blessings from India.
I can't thank you enough for this tutorial! It is the best tutorial on the internet, if I could like this video 1000 times I definitely would cause you deserve it. I tried nearly every possible video on youtube on how to draft a basic bodice pattern and they were all bad. The front piece and the back piece wouldn't match it wouldn't fit nicely on the body either, the same thing with digital patterns I bought online or downloaded for free. I made this bodice sloper in all sizes and they are all flawless thanks to this video. THANK YOU SO MUCH! ♥♥
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for this tutorial❤. I’ve spent evenings/ weekends to make a basic bodice block from other Youtube creators/book but none of them fit, doesnt even come close to fit my body. I followed your tutorial and only had to make minor tweaks. This tutorial was so clear and straight forward.
I have always wanted to learn creating my own basic bodice pattern. From what I seen it always seem to look so intimidating, but your video was so informative and straight forward with easy instructions. I look forward to trying this in the coming weeks. I thank you so much for creating this video. Have a wonderful day. ☕🙏🏼😊👏🏼🤯❤️🔥
Вооо.....как здорово. Спасибо за классное видео. Без формул и расчётов, а всё на месте. Посадка по собственной фигуре и нет проблем. Браво вам!!!👏👏
One of the best videos I have seen...not many people share their knowledge with others...u do... 🙏🙏
I'm Sri Lankan thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with all of us thank you again
The best tutorial. No lengthy explanation. Very practical & straight to the point with the formulas & drawing the basic bodice. I forgot what I learnt ages ago from my late grandma. :o)
Brilliant! I've sewn since I was a kid and have been looking for something so simple, yet perfect! Brava and thank you👏🏼
May I just mention.... I love the back ground music you're using! It sounds like Yiruma, a Korean famous pianist! Im a music lover, that type I hear from this video! I made the patterns that I copied here. just need to try it on fabric. I finally got my serger and Im so happy about it! Now I can start my actual sewing! I think I already made the patterns I need, thank you so much. I have learned a lot from this channel! Im a beginner and learning thru YT and your channel! Even I don't hear any word, your hand and pen speaks louder! Thank you so much! Till the next video!
I love the way you demonstrate. However, may I suggest one extra step that would help the beginner like me tremendously, e.g. NECK = 35cm/5 = 7cm. A small detail (by adding the number to the measured body part) would be very helpful. Many thanks. 🌵
Finally! Someone who knows how to draft using proper tools and measurements not freehand curves and gauging by eye. I have a degree in fashion design and am always so annoyed by sewing tutorials that don’t show proper techniques but tips and tricks.
