Great explanation Yinka!! The only point I think is that the BurnDown chart is not an agile metric but rather a decision-making tool that should even be used during the Sprint to ensure that the team is delivering according to the Sprint goal of what everyone has commited to deliver and not use it after the Sprint is over. Agile metrics for those running Scrum in my opinion are Velocity metrics or even some Kanban metrics such as Throughput, CFD, WIP Limit, Lead/Cycle time if applied correctly.
