This is the T-50 cockpit , not SU-57
I love the fact that Americans don't understand the difference between the Su57 and T50
Is f35 mostly touch screen? If it is, which one more comfortable between touch screen and analog? Like, in the past, people can easily wrote a text on their phone without even seeing the phone.. nowdays it's imposible to write a text without seeing the screen..
I find it amusing that people think a prototype for the SU-57, which they're claiming the first cockpit to be, think it's actually so different. That's fucking hilarious.
Well... Good luck scrolling through the menu and hitting the right button on the screen during a turbulence or in a dogfight or other stressing situations.
Is the "high tech" usable in case of stress? In modern cars with touchpads, central display,... I learned that "more modern" isn't automatically "better" or "easier to use".
it's the same case with modern car dashboard which are being replaced with touch screen instead of traditional buttons and knobs. you got a single screen for all controls but lose the tactile feedback from pushing the button and rolling the knobs.
Question: Are aircraft like the F35 or whatever with the electric srill flyable after EMP of a nuke? Could it be why SU has main system more "traditional"?
That’s clean and simple nice 👍
Looking at T-50 (predecessor , or test machine of SU57 ) and calling it a SU57 tells a lot about your qualification . Make your home work better next time.
Well… sometimes a good old muscle memory trick on a good old tangible button is more efficient that 3 clicks on MFD… so maybe having both is great… look at cars… full glass car are usually if not always an ergonomic nightmare
In a car, this touch doesn't work well, i can imagine in a plane its even worse. In cars there is a loud call for returning to buttons.
I ain’t gonna cap I met some few pallets while I was service and out some of them really don’t like the F 35 for real there’s some they love the F 22 and some of them really don’t like the cockpit design for real most of them like the f15 and F 18 and the F-16 because of his traditional route, even though it’s still up there up-to-date the best it can be
i just wanna sit it one, they are both sick imo
So which is more reliable
That's the old su 57 cockpit.
Why center stick? Side stick should be more ergonomic.
Removing buttons and levers is not higher tech. It's complicating a more efficient interface. Imagine digging through three or four menus to activate brakes...
Different ways to do things. Like how Americans spent millions developing a space pen, and Russians just took a pencil into space.
