@unclefatbloke687

Not really!
I have watched it 5 times now and I see zero use of the right arm or hand, which means that was a shoulder charge!

@peuple3993

It is a penalty for shoulder charge since he is not wraping his arms around

@johnkewley

"Proper Tackle""
Yes when you are cheating, in other words B/S

@SlaNer48

Sends him flying

@thelandofnod123

Actually a very poor tackle.

I disagree on the tackle/wrap/shoulder, however, the failure to control the tackled played means that the tackler ends up diving straight over the tackled player, the arriving players then had restricted access to the ball. This allowed the supporting defenders to push back into the ruck to release the ball on their side. Had the tackler controlled the tackled played to the ground, the attacking team could very realistically have turned the ball, spun it two wide of the ruck and scored. The defending team was quite stretched at this point because of the numbers arriving at the ruck and would have been unable to react fast enough to some quick passes. This was a great attacking play and would have been fantastic had a better tackle technique been used.

@bigpig88

That’s basically a shoulder check

@alexanderweideman324
