I've said it many times before and I'll say it many more time, I love science channels because no matter what they are about they will always slowly drift into the point of just blowing things up.

@morganscott1697

“It can be a bit more reactive.” Understatement of the century, ladies and gentlemen.

@djstarrjunkie

A few weeks ago, one of the dogs I sit put me in 100% panic mode because his owner didn't put the TV's remote control up high enough out of his 9 months old chocolate labs reach. I walk in to the control chewed to pieces, one lithium battery with a dog tooth mark, and the other lithium battery MIA. It took awhile but I'd found the second battery between the couch cushions not messed with.
  For the record, those labs LOVE water, and it's all about that apartment... Your short simply reconfirmed batteries need to be put up & away from children and animals that might be tempted to swallow or play with them.
  Amazing & terrifying video ~Thanks! 😊

@xStrife1997x

Didn't say "don't try this at home" so naturally I have to try this at home.

@neondennon

“It could’ve been worse.”
Glass exploded everywhere, Nile.

“Be a bit more reactive.”

@SilverixGD

These types of metals are called alkaline metals, they are extremely reactive metals that explode in contact with water, there are some alkaline metals that explode similar to a grenade

@unknownboy0

"It can sometimes be a bit more reactive"
Yeah, the glass bowl breaking is just a bit more reactive

@Excyl_XP

Nile is the type of guy to say "it's just a little mishap" while in a hospital bed with a missing leg and a trafficked organ.

@johnermactavish1162

And for those of you wondering. EV cars do not use a single big battery. It looks like it but it’s hundreds of thousands of these sized lithium battery daisy chained together.

That is why fire bombing one of them is not just a jerk move. It can cause a very big boom or fire hot enough to melt concrete. These EV cars if parked in a sub-basement parking lot can and have brought down entire structures.
