@Tommi_Salami69

I’ve seen these and I think they’re not gimmicky, more so just unnecessary. Just hand tighten it back alittle further back than you want it, then grab the outside part with your lineman pliers (or channel locks for conduit) to give it a final turn.

@OmniMontel

They are handy when you need to break off the old nut that has frozen/corroded on. Yes you can get it off with work and other tools and these aren't 100% for that but worth keeping in the van. Van tool not bag tool.

@EmmanuelA1

These things are absolutely priceless, particularly this offset version. I've used my strike plate slotted screwdriver and hammer only when necessary, but in general I hate it, especially if working in energized boxes; it requires 2 hands on one object. Using a locknut wrench allows you to use your other hand as needed. If you're not gonna use the right tool, you're doing it wrong, in my opinion (electrician apprentice 😅)

@chrisf7774

Got something like these while in school! Never liked pulling them out while working, but theyre mighty handy when pulling down old conduit!

@natashaball316

Comparing them to the pliers and screwdriver is a unequal match. Stick with the driver pliers.

@realhouseDIY

There's some nice ratcheting wrenches for locknuts. Probably what I would go for if doing this work daily.

@MackLife87

I got em for removing old locknuts, for the price can’t beat it

@patrickmace1051

Just something else taking up space in my bag.

@aaavellone

Pretty cool. Seems more like a DIY kind of tool. I already have enough tools on my belt. I don't need some tiny thing falling out and getting lost when I already have a driver and kliens on my hip

@criscross92

I can say from experience using this in the hvac field is a no go. I’ll just stick to a flat head and my chanel locks and give a few taps to break the Chinese money free.

@tonypuga2502

I use my cobras to get it done

@shannon1872

What’s a screwdriver, I see two hammers 😂

@Spoons7414

Priced too cheap to be a gimmick
