The assination story (i dont wanna see hate comments saying i think we all know): so the assination was carried out by black hand, a secret serbian national group. They dreamed about a greater serbia, in other words they wanted serbia to be bigger. So they belived by assinating franz ferdiand, (the arducke of Austria-Hungary) would come to the colllasps of the empire. So the assination was set. On june 28th 1914, the assination included about 7 assins. The motorcade passed vaso cubrilovic who got nervous and refused to throw his bomb. After that nedeljko cabrinovic, with all his bravery. Threw the bomb which bounced off the car and injuring officers and a few pepole behind the motorcade. On hearing about the failure of the assination, Gavrilo princip decided to get a sandwich. Thinking his dreams were over he sighed and tried to carry out a new assination. Fortunately, for him, the driver of the motorcade took a wrong turn, believing they were still heading to the new site that was opening. And perhaps god was on the side of the teenager because princip didint waste a second. And immediately sat up and shot the arducke and his wife. They both died aftee about 10 mins. and princip and the 5 other assins were arrested. However in the aftermath 24 ppl were in the assination including the leader of gang black hand Dainleo illitch. Who was executed. And accurately, thats how ww1 started

WW1 would have started anyway, this was the light that started the fuse, but tensions were so high between all the countries that the war would have eventually started anyway. France, Russia, and Serbia were all connected through alliances and Germany was aligned with Austria Hungary. Not to mention the last big war in Europe was before the Industrial Revolution, no one thought the war would be as bloody as it was because they all went in with old school war mentalities.

For those who don’t know So as you can see the man sitting on the chair next to the café is gravilo Princip and the man and wife sitting on the open car was Archduke Franz Ferdinand he was being an king of the Austria-Hungurain well known as Ottoman Empire went to Serbia to see the armed Serbian forces as knows as the black hand so Princip shot Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife and that’s how WW1 happend.
