If you're coming from any other language when they mention "Action pattern" they are referring to the "Command pattern". Not sure why in the Laravel eco-system they decided to rename it to Action pattern so if you're wanting to research it, look for command pattern.
Two absolute GOATS of Laravel. 🐐
Really nice to knowing that stories from the beginning. My first version was Laravel 4.. just after the launch. I’d been working with CodeIgniter and Yii by that time. Then I read about this new framework called Laravel… the version 3 but, i wasn’t convinced to build with it. Then finally the version 4 came out and together with an Ebook about Laravel and pandas. And with that I jumped in to start a new project with it. I think it just gets better each new version and with all the ecosystem around it.
Happy Birthday Taylor :)
In love with Laravel since Laravel 4. Very good and interesting video from the first to the last minute.
Very insightful talk. The part about the mean comments really hits home. Sometimes, people just forget there is an actual human being they are interacting with and not just some random pixel on the screen. Keep going! I love the high quality work you guys are putting out for the community.
L4, blew my mind, and I'm still discovering things under the hood that have been in the framework since then already.
No hesitation for Pest, great answer Taylor!
