2004 Menu 01 Beef with Mushroom Gravy

Today's offering is a Wornick Co. military MRE from 2004: Menu 1, Beef with Mushroom Gravy. Check out our review and taste-test of this 14 year-old military ration. This menu included an example of the infamous "salmonella shakes," and there was a problem with the entree.

If anyone watching this video was deployed to the Sand Box while the 2004 menus were being issued, and you ate this ration in the field, please share your thoughts about how it tasted back then when it was fresh, and whether you or one of your brothers or sisters at arms got sick after consuming the "dairy shake."
