𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫

On August 19th, 2024, our dive team located a man’s body in the American River. It has been identified as 38-year-old Zabiullah Haliqyar, the father who went under while trying to save his son on Sunday, August 18th, 2024. The boy is okay thanks to help from a bystander. Haliqyar was last seen in the area of No Hands Bridge. Today, his body was located downstream from that area. We want to thank the CAL FIRE Technical Rescue Team who helped during today’s search, we also want to thank the CHP for assisting with hoist operations using their helicopter.
