Chainsaw milling free hand to cut this large white fir tree into quarters. I am using a Stihl MS 462 chainsaw with a 32 inch bar and Stihl ripping chain. I am getting ready to load these quartered logs into my trailer and haul them to a Woodmizer LT 15 sawmill. I am cutting them straight enough without using a chainsaw mill guide. The Woodmizer will straighten them up and any waste wood can be used as firewood.
