We had a gear warning light and ended up taking our Rockwell Commander AC112 into the shop to get it jacked up and looked at. After some fault finding by the engineers they found a faulty earth wire due to corrosion in the starboard main wheel well. As a test a few cycles of retraction and extention including an emergey extention was carried out.
The Rockwell Commander is a 4 place single Lycoming engined complex light aircraft with this example G-CNCN being a AC112 turbo charged 4 cylinder version. Commander also made the 6 cylinder version the AC114 or 114.
