Israeli airstrikes targeted military positions in Syria's Daraa province this evening. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the strikes hit a military site in the town of Tseel, in the rural western countryside of Daraa. Shells reportedly landed in agricultural fields, with no immediate reports of injuries.
Israeli forces confirmed the strikes, claiming they were aimed at a “terrorist target” who they said were responsible for the earlier projectile, which landed in an open area without causing casualties.
The Syrian government condemned the airstrikes, calling them a breach of its sovereignty and an act of aggression
