Although we do not NEED ice-cream it is perfectly okay to WANT ice-cream!
It’s okay to allow yourself to have the things you WANT (in moderation) while still maintaining discipline with all the “healthy” things our bodies NEED.
During my nutrition consultations I like to ask about “BAD HABITS” This is something you refuse to give up. My goal as a nutrition coach is to find ways to allow my clients to still enjoy the things they love.
Too much restriction is a DIET…I teach LIFESTYLE changes I do not encourage diets. So we practice portion control, finding healthier alternatives, discipline, learning about emotional eating, etc.
