BNY Mellon Pride Month Employee Feature - Michael Bennett

Our very own Michael Bennett is using #pridemonth to celebrate his LGBTQ+ community as well as highlight the enduring importance of diversity in the workplace.

Michael's close alliance with our PRISM resource group at BNY Mellon stems from his search for belonging as a mixed-race child and later, as a gay man.

Michael shares, "I truly feel comfortable in a place where my voice is heard, I can share my experiences as well as just meet other people who may have had similar experiences here - at work or at other places. I think that constant need of finding where I belong as I grew up, and once I was comfortable and found my people, and was comfortable with who I am - I think it was important to bring that side of myself into work as well".
