Logic Vs Emotion - How Emotions Influence Decision Making - Affect Heuristic

The snap judgment we make to like or dislike something influences how we see the risks and benefits associated with that something. If we like something then we see the benefits associated with it as bigger than they are in reality and we see the risks associated with it as smaller than they are in reality; and vice versa if don't like that person, place, thing, goal, or whatever else. This happens because of another cognitive bias we have called The Affect Heuristic. This video goes in depth on this emotional decision making we do.
