Module 2.3 Rate of change of a material element, conservation of mass

This video covers the velocity gradient (rate of change of a material element) tensor. This tensor can be decomposed into two tensors: the rate of deformation tensor (symmetric part) and the spin tensor (antisymmetric part). The first field equation, conservation of mass, is also covered.
