The Government of India has launched the "Yuva Sangam" registration portal, an initiative to strengthen people-to-people connections, particularly between youth in North Eastern India and other states. The program will focus on conducting exposure tours for young people between the 8 North Eastern states and other states. The initiative is conceptualized under the "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" program in collaboration with various other ministries and departments, such as Culture, Tourism, and Railways, and aims to promote mutual understanding between people of different states/UTs through state/UT pairing.
