Things to do in #Bodrum Turkey 🇹🇷

Here’s what I did in Bodrum, Türkiye! 🇹🇷 (i visited in June)

This beach town in the Turkish Riviera is where an array of beachgoers escape to in the summer. From the affluent and celebs, to all types of families and couples, and more - it’s such a great getaway for all. I went for my wedding anniversary and it definitely hit the couples vibe we were looking for while not being too exclusive.

That said - the REAL REAL is that it is still a beach town so often there isn’t going to be A LOT to do in beach towns when you’re not eating, swimming, and sunbathing.

In addition to the activities listed in the video, We also used Bodrum as a base for visiting Ephesus. People usually go there from Izmir but we didn’t want to go to Izmir on this trip and luckily we found some great day trip options to Ephesus directly from Bodrum.

MY RECS FOR BODRUM:

Activities:
• Walk the Marina (lots of shops and pop ups.)
• ⁠Bodrum Castle /Underwater Archaeology Museum (not actually underwater, the artifacts are found from underwater.)
• ⁠Orak island boat trip (we loved this day trip on the Aegean Sea)
• ⁠big day trip to Ephesus (was like a 12-hour day trip)

Dining:
• Orfoz Restaurant Bodrum (higher end + seafood tasting menu)
• ⁠Derin Beach Bar Restaurant (waterfront and array of food options)
• ⁠Moya Brasserie Restaurant (Good cocktails, good music, good vibes and not pushy at all.)
• ⁠The Hunger (this randomly had a lot of delicious Asian options so nice when tired of kebabs and fish.)
