This week we continue looking at the problems caused by the Fall and the desire for human government rather than God’s governance. God warned His people of the consequences of choosing earthly monarchs (sinners lording it over other sinners is never a good combination), but they turned to their own reasoning and ignored His counsel.

"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!" (Psalm 46: 10, NKJV).
