"Sweet and spicy pork and shirataki rice"
■Ingredients (serves 4 (5.5 cup rice cooker))
・Rice (absorbed) 1.5 cups
・Water, appropriate amount
・Shirataki (removed bitterness), 1 bag
・Soy sauce (for shirataki), 1/2 tablespoon
・Minced pork, 150g
・Carrot, 1/3
・Shiitake mushrooms, 2
・Scallions (chopped), appropriate amount
☆Seasonings
・Sake, 1 tablespoon
・Sugar, 1 tablespoon
・Soy sauce, 1 and 1/2 tablespoons
・Japanese-style granulated soup stock, 1/2 teaspoon
・Grated ginger, 1 teaspoon
■Procedure
(1) Finely chop the shirataki. Cut the carrots lengthwise into 4 equal parts and thinly slice.
(2) Cut the roots of the shiitake mushrooms and thinly slice them. Cut the pork into bite-sized pieces.
(3) Put the shirataki in a frying pan and fry over medium heat for about 5 minutes. (Frying will evaporate the water and allow the flavor to soak in more easily!)
(4) Add soy sauce (for the shirataki) and fry.
(5) Put the rice (washed) and ☆ into the inner pot of the rice cooker and add water up to the 1.5 cup mark.
(6) Mix lightly. Spread the fried shirataki, pork, carrots, and shiitake mushrooms and add them. Cook as usual.
(7) Mix when cooked. Place in a bowl and sprinkle with chopped green onions.
