Wireless 101

Drew Lentz, from Frontera Consulting, introduces us to RF communications for data and voice. With pretty much everything in the world becoming a transmitter and receiver, having a solid understanding of how this stuff works is probably a good idea. I will take fundamental concepts of RF communications and break them down into easy to understand examples. Then we'll move on into how data is transmitted across those signals, and finally we'll touch on wireless security. For the last part of the session I'll show off some Wi-Fi hacking techniques so that you know how to protect yourself from attacks!
