Reg Talks Webinar: Practising Dietetics

All eligible members of the College of Dietitians of Ontario annually declare whether they have practised dietetics for 500 hours or more in the previous three-year period. In addition, Council recently approved the Practising Dietetics Policy to help dietitians reflect on their practice and respond to reporting currency hours at renewal (September 1 – October 31).

The College’s Professional Practice Program held a one-hour Reg Talks webinar on applying the Practising Dietetics Policy and the definition of practising dietetics.

The webinar examines:
-What are currency hours, and why is this important?
-What counts as a practice hour?
-Whether redeployed work during the pandemic can count as currency hours
-Practical examples
-Question & Answer Period
