DELL Inspiron 7506 2-in-1 laptop motherboard repair
The motherboard of this device is coded HELLCAT 14 MS TGL 8L 19860-1
The problem with this motherboard is that it works for a few seconds and then restarts continuously!
Before starting the repair process, we have attached an illustrative (anatomical) picture of all the electronic circuits on the motherboard to facilitate the repair process and also for the purpose of spreading the benefit to our fellow followers.
We began the repair process by measuring the impedances on all circuits as well as the bios chips, and they were all within the correct and reasonable range.
We then moved on to measure the voltages on the supply circuits, until we found that the voltages supplying the processor core did not appear!
We had to check the processor power circuit and find out why it was not working. So we started with the processor power IC, which was encoded on the board as PU4601 and had the code ISL95869HRTZX.
By referring to the general diagram of the motherboard, as well as the board view of this motherboard, we arrived at the most important efforts and signals that must be measured and ensure their safety.
Moving under the microscope to make the necessary measurements, we found that there was an oxidation zone near the IC
This oxide damaged two components.
Using the board view and the diagram, the symbols and values of these elements were known
The first resistor PR4615 1K3R2R
The second capacitor PC4608 SC82P50V
We replaced the damaged components and conducted the necessary examination of the device to show that it worked perfectly, praise and thanks be to God.
